About Sekuwa

Sekuwa is a popular Nepali appetizer of skewered meat (usually chicken, goat, or buffalo) marinated in a blend of turmeric, cumin, coriander, ginger, garlic, and mustard oil, then grilled over open fire. The smoky, spiced flavor makes it a beloved street food and restaurant starter. Sekuwa is often served with beaten rice (chiura), spicy achar, and fresh salad.
