Frequently Asked Questions
Welcome to the Nepalese Events Australia FAQ hub. We have organised answers into clear topical categories so you can quickly find what you need — whether you are buying your first ticket, organising a community event, or exploring our platform tools.
Buying Tickets & Payments
How do I purchase tickets for an event?
Browse events on our Events page, filter by city or category, select your ticket type, enter your details, and pay securely with Stripe. You will receive an instant email confirmation with your QR-code tickets. Tickets are also accessible from your My Tickets dashboard at any time.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor used by millions of businesses worldwide. We never store your full card number, CVV, or expiry date on our servers. All communication is encrypted via SSL/TLS.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, and Google Pay through Stripe. Bank transfers and PayPal are not currently supported for ticket purchases.
Can I buy tickets for someone else?
Yes. Enter the attendee name during checkout, or use our ticket transfer feature after purchase to send the ticket to another person. The recipient will receive an email with their own QR code.
Will I be charged a booking fee?
A small service fee is added to each ticket to cover payment processing and platform maintenance. The fee is displayed transparently before you confirm your purchase — no hidden charges.
Tickets, Transfers & Entry
Where do I find my tickets after purchase?
Tickets are delivered in three ways: (1) an email confirmation with QR codes, (2) your My Tickets dashboard, and (3) the order confirmation page immediately after checkout. Each ticket has a unique QR code that venue staff will scan at entry.
Can I transfer my ticket to a friend?
Yes. Go to My Tickets, select the ticket you want to transfer, enter the recipient name and email, and confirm. The original ticket is invalidated and the recipient receives a new QR code. Transfers are free.
What if I lose my ticket email?
No problem. Log in to your account and visit My Tickets to view, download, or re-send your tickets. You can also show the QR code directly from your phone at the venue.
What if I am denied entry despite having a valid ticket?
If you are denied entry due to a platform error (not your own conduct), contact us within 7 days with your order number. We will investigate with the organiser and process a full refund if the denial was unjustified. See our Refund Policy for details.
Refunds & Cancellations
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
Change-of-mind refunds are not available. We encourage you to review event details carefully before purchasing. If you can no longer attend, you can transfer your ticket to someone else for free.
What happens if an event is cancelled?
If the organiser cancels the event, you are entitled to a full refund of the ticket price. Refunds are processed automatically to your original payment method within 7-14 business days. You will be notified by email.
What if an event is rescheduled to a date I cannot attend?
Your ticket remains valid for the new date. If you cannot attend, you may request a refund within 14 days of the rescheduling announcement. After 14 days, refunds are at the organiser discretion.
I was charged twice for the same ticket. What do I do?
Contact us at infonepaleseevents@gmail.com within 7 days with your order number(s). We will investigate and refund any duplicate charges immediately.
Where can I read the full refund policy?
Our complete Refund Policy covers all scenarios including cancellations, rescheduling, denied entry, and Australian Consumer Law rights.
Event Organisers & Vendors
How do I become an event organiser on the platform?
Register for a free account, then either claim an existing event that is already listed, or create a new event from your vendor dashboard. Once approved, you can sell tickets, manage attendees, and access analytics.
How much does it cost to list events?
Listing events is free. We charge a 10% commission on paid ticket sales — there are no upfront fees, subscription costs, or hidden charges. Free events have zero fees. See our Vendor Agreement for full details.
When and how do I get paid for ticket sales?
Earnings accumulate in your vendor wallet and are available for withdrawal after your event concludes and the refund window passes. Withdrawals are processed to your Australian bank account within 5 business days. Minimum withdrawal: $50 AUD.
Can I set my own ticket prices and types?
Yes. You can create unlimited ticket types (General Admission, VIP, Early Bird, etc.) with custom pricing, quantities, and descriptions. You can also offer discount codes and group pricing.
How do I check in attendees at the door?
Use the built-in check-in tool in your vendor dashboard. You can scan QR codes with your phone camera, search by name, or export an attendee list. Real-time check-in stats show how many guests have arrived.
Account & Profile
Can I change my email address after registering?
For security reasons, email addresses are locked after registration. If you need to change your email, contact support at infonepaleseevents@gmail.com with proof of identity.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Visit the password reset page and enter your email. You will receive a secure reset link valid for 60 minutes.
Can I have both a customer and vendor account?
Yes. Your account can switch between customer and vendor modes. You can buy tickets as a customer and also create/sell events as a vendor using the same account.
How do I delete my account?
Contact us at infonepaleseevents@gmail.com to request account deletion. We will remove your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Australian Privacy Principles. Transaction records may be retained for 7 years as required by tax law.
Community & Chat Features
Can I chat with other attendees before an event?
Yes. Visit Event Chats in your dashboard to join conversation threads for events you have tickets for. Chat with fellow attendees, ask questions, and connect with the community.
What are the community chat rules?
Our Code of Conduct applies to all chat features. Be respectful, no spam, no harassment, no sharing personal information of others. Violations may result in chat suspension or account termination.
How do I report inappropriate behaviour?
Email infonepaleseevents@gmail.com with details and screenshots. For immediate safety concerns at an event, contact venue security or call 000.
