Germany's Nepali community — students, professionals and families spread across Berlin, Munich, NRW and beyond — sends euros home through mainstream digital providers more than specialised counters.
Your options
Wise and Remitly are the corridor's defaults — transparent pricing to Nepali bank accounts and wallets. Western Union covers cash pickup for recipients without banking access. Nepali-side services (eSewa Money Transfer, IME) accept European sends for wallet delivery — worth quoting for smaller, frequent transfers.
What to compare
The EUR/NPR rate moves with both currencies — check the live EUR to NPR rate to see the mid-market before accepting a provider quote. The European pattern — smaller, regular family transfers rather than lump sums — means fee structure matters as much as the rate: a flat-fee service beats a percentage fee as amounts grow. Bank delivery to Nepal typically lands same or next business day.
