With Bhai Tika on a Wednesday, the UK festival splits the way Dashain did (see the UK Dashain calendar): community Deusi Bhailo programmes cluster on the weekends of 7–8 November, and families perform the sibling ceremony on Wednesday itself — usually the early evening once the working day ends. The third weekend of November then catches the overflow events before the community calendar turns to Christmas-season programming.
