Canada has quietly become a reliable theatrical market for Nepali cinema — not through occasional community-hall screenings but through mainstream multiplexes on the South Asian release circuit. This guide s every Nepali film confirmed for Canadian screens, and is updated as new titles are added.

Coming soon

How the Canadian circuit works
Nepali films in Canada play the same multiplex chains that carry South Asian cinema generally — Cineplex locations in the GTA (Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, Scarborough) and Metro Vancouver (Vancouver, Surrey) carry most releases, occasionally joined by Calgary and Edmonton for the biggest titles. Screenings typically run a limited window — one to two weeks — so opening-weekend demand directly decides whether a film holds.
Where the community is
The cinema map s the population: the GTA has Canada's largest Nepali concentration, BC's Surrey–Vancouver corridor is second, and Alberta's Calgary–Edmonton pairing is the fastest-growing. Festival season is peak season — the October slate lands exactly when the community's entertainment appetite peaks around Dashain.
