South Korea concert details
- Month: September 2026
- Location: Seoul, South Korea
- Timing: Chuseok holiday period
- Tour: SWAR Badal Sari
Why Chuseok timing matters
Chuseok is one of South Korea’s most important national holidays, similar to Dashain or Thanksgiving. Many factories and workplaces close for several days, giving Nepali migrant workers and international students a rare extended break. Holding a Nepali concert during this window makes it easier for the community to attend.
About SWAR
SWAR is a Kathmandu-d band that has built a strong following among Nepali diaspora communities through energetic live shows that mix folk, rock and contemporary Nepali music. Their 2026 schedule includes dates across Asia, Europe, North America and Australia.
Tickets
Ticket details for the Seoul concert are released through Korean and Nepali community promoters. Fans should check official channels rather than unofficial resellers.
Community significance
South Korea hosts one of the largest Nepali migrant-worker populations in East Asia. A Seoul concert during Chuseok offers a cultural home away from home and a break from the demanding work schedules many Nepali workers face.
