Why this matters
Cricket has become a major community sport for Nepali Canadians, with clubs and leagues developing talent across Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia. The 7 Nations Cup gives Nepali players a chance to represent their heritage on an international-style stage in Canada.
NCCC President Binay Yadav described the tournament as “more than just a cricket tournament — it is an opportunity for Nepali cricketers to come together, compete, connect, and proudly wear the Nepal jersey.”
The event also relies on volunteer effort and community partners. The NCCC is inviting businesses, organisations and community partners to support Team Nepal.
