1974 AD, one of Nepal’s most enduring rock bands, is taking its Rock Yatra Europe Tour 2026 to six countries in August 2026. The tour follows the band’s Australia leg and precedes its Nepal return dates.

Europe Tour 2026 dates

The Malta date is already covered separately in our 1974 AD Malta feature. This article s the full European routing for fans planning to travel between cities.

About 1974 AD

Formed in the 1990s, 1974 AD helped establish Nepali rock as a commercially viable genre both at home and abroad. The band’s lineup has changed over the years, but its sound continues to blend Nepali melodies with rock, funk and jazz influences. Popular songs include “Sambodhan”, “Parelima”, “Chudaina Timro Mayale” and “Dherai Dherai Aauchhu Manma”.

What to expect

The Rock Yatra shows feature the current lineup performing a mix of classic hits and newer material. European audiences can expect a full band production with Nepali-language vocals and instrumental arrangements that have made the band a festival staple.

Tickets

Ticket links, venues and exact start times are released by country-level promoters. Fans should follow the band’s official social channels and local Nepali community pages for each city.

Why this matters

A six-country European tour is one of the largest routing efforts ever attempted by a Nepali rock band. It shows that the European Nepali market can support multiple concert dates outside the traditional UK hub.
