About this monthly Nepali calendar

Baishakh is one of the twelve months in the Bikram Sambat system. Because BS month boundaries do not match Gregorian month boundaries, this page pairs every BS day with its exact AD date from the published calendar records. This is more reliable than estimating a conversion from the usual year difference.

The grid also separates the numeric date from lunar information such as tithi. Festival labels are included when a record falls on that day, while the side panels collect festival and auspicious-date references for easier planning. Learn more about the general calendar system in the Vikram Samvat overview.

Australian residents should use the displayed Gregorian date when coordinating work, travel, venues or school commitments. Australian public holidays are governed separately; consult Fair Work Ombudsman guidance for employment information. The calendar is a planning reference, and local religious timing may require advice from an appropriate practitioner.

Continue to the festival list, browse Australian Nepali events, or convert a date with the BS–AD converter.
